1. What is metabolic syndrome?

① abdominal obesity.
Waist circumference part of the male ≥ 90cm, female ≥ 85cm;
Fasting blood glucose (FPG) higher than 6.1mmol/L and (or 2) postprandial blood glucose (2hPG) ≥ 7.8mmol/L or patients who have started treatment;
③ High blood pressure.
140/90 mmHg or higher, or patients with confirmed hypertension who have started treatment;
④ Fasting triglycerides of 1.7 mmolu002FL or higher;
⑤ Fasting HDL lowering cholesterol below 1.04 mmol/L (female) and 0.9 mmol/L (male).
All of the above 5 diagnostic criteria can be diagnosed after diagnosis and treatment, including metabolic syndrome. 3.
3. Prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome
